Northern Youth Project

Art, agriculture, and leadership opportunties that honor the past and look to the future.

Founded by teens for teens in 2009, NYP’s seasonal programming takes place in a garden space provided by the Tres Semillas Foundation with the aim to integrate more positive youth opportunities in the area.

NYP serves young people ages 8 to 21, providing free programs, intern stipends, employment opportunties, and community engagement activities year round. The project works to empower teens to put their ideas into action: initiating projects they want to do, focusing on their interests, and engaging in activities driven by their passions.

NYP’s team of staff work in partnership with regional organizations, mentors, and volunteers to empower our youth to LEAD, CREATE, and GROW.
