FLOW: Future Leaders of the World
Dream Here
FLOW enables teens to focus their acquired knowledge and skills in the areas of arts and agriculture towards inventive community leadership opportunities. Meeting once a month, FLOW is the steering committee and “think tank” for all of NYP’s programming.
FLOW members initiate, plan, organize, execute, and manage all teen programs, community service projects and fundraisers—from mentoring younger children and community action to deciding where to go on field trips.
Working together with their peers, teenagers learn basic skills like running a meeting, marketing events, and community building.
They also originate entrepreneurial projects including operating booths at local fiestas, exhibiting and selling their art, bringing their produce to market, and finding diverse ways to give back.
