This year was a special one for Northern Youth Project (NYP). Participants in the Leadership in Art Program & Art Interns alike were able to display & sell their own artwork at the Abiquiu Studio Tour. Mentored by alumni from The Beast Boutique & Green Dragon Studio the youth learned & practiced setting up an art booth, speaking with community members & potential buyers about their art & their artistic journey. The art participants also navigated sharing information about the NYP program as well as keeping track of the income & number of visitors during the tour. Many of the interns also gained experience not only selling their art that was crafted throughout the season; but also engaged in on-the-spot commision art as requested by various patrons.
